What is SnowCaptcha?

SnowCaptcha is a CAPTCHA that we developed to reduce the cost of implementing spam protection across multiple websites.

Can I get access to SnowCaptcha?

SnowCaptcha is currently only available to the following groups:

• Website development clients

• SnowMail users

Why a different CAPTCHA?

We couldn't justify the cost of reCAPTCHA after their 2024 price increase. We briefly considered hCaptcha and Cloudflare Turnstile, but the former was too difficult for users and didn't support IPv6 (one of our requirements for customer facing services), and the latter requires an enterprise plan for more than 10 websites.
